Alexander Sokolov is a lead visualization artist based in Los Angeles, California. Born in the USSR, he was one of the first artists to develop previs/postvis workflows and shape Russia’s visual effects industry. Alex worked on the pre-production of such blockbusters as Day Watch and Wanted.

In the US, he is best known for his work on, Terminator: Dark Fate, Jumanji: The Next Level, and Jungle Cruise. He made previsualization for the Olympic Games in Vancouver (2010) and Sochi (2014). Also, he visualized the most epic sequences of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Oscar-winning RRR directed by S.S. Rajamouli.

Alexander is a New York Film Academy graduate and loves to work in action/sci-fi genres. He is a member of the Visual Effects Society.
